Our elders had a chance to see the exciting Harlem Globetrotters at the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center in Pikeville, Kentucky on March 16, 2016. They were amazed at the athletic shots that were made and the dunks made them cheer. I have always heard that the globetrotters can put a smile on anyone’s face, and for one night I know they put smiles on a lot of our wonderful elders’ faces.
Our elders took a trip to the Country Music Museum in Paintsville, Kentucky. A lot of our elders love country music and on this trip they had a chance to see memorabilia from some of their favorite country music singers. They even got a live band performance and got to put their dancing shoes on and cut a rug. There is nothing that makes my day more than seeing our elders laughing uncontrollably and having the time of their lives.
The Easter Bunny can bring happiness wherever he goes! He made a grand appearance at our facility and spent the morning with our elders. Needless to say, he was a hit! He even got to take some great pictures with our wonderful elders.
